Our Take: Having opened in December, 2010, this hotel proudly touts its reputation as Vail's youngest boutique. So far, The Sebastian has made a good impression, with many recent guests claiming that the customer service—especially the ski concierge and the front desk staff—is the best they've ever experienced. While this hotel strives to maintain the ambience of a classic ski lodge, recent visitors love the trendy atmosphere found in the Leonora restaurant and FROST, the hotel bar. Although some note that rooms here are small compared to competing properties, many compliment The Sebastian on its common areas, like the outdoor fire pit and the library. And despite their cozy size, accommodations house all the luxury amenities you'll need, including a flat-panel HD television, a fully-stocked mini-bar, and a Nespresso coffee machine.
