U.S. News Review
It's not just the welcome rum punch talking — guests can't stop raving about The Somerset's beauty. With 53 suites and villas housed in three buildings that symmetrically surround a renovated swimming pool, this resort is certainly a pleasure to look at. The suites also earn high praise for their appearance, thanks to marble bathrooms, gourmet kitchens with granite countertops, mahogany furnishings and private terraces overlooking the gardens or Provo's Grace Bay beach. But there's more to The Somerset than meets the eye: You can engage in a variety of land or water activities, from beach volleyball to windsurfing, spa treatments to swims in the infinity pool (though some activities require a one-time fee). Plus, anglophiles can try out croquet on the only regulation lawn in Turks & Caicos. When you've worked up an appetite, you can either request a private chef to your suite or dine with an ocean view at LunAsea or O'Soleil.
