Our Take: Sitting about a mile from The Galleria, The St. Regis Houston is one of only a few five-star hotels in the city. And like others of its celestial caliber, the St. Regis earns its commendation with all of its luxurious amenities. Previous guests say that the outdoor pool is gorgeous, and they enjoyed soaking up some sun in the comfy beach chairs lining the pool deck. The on-site fitness center and spa also garnered praise, with R&R-seekers recommending that you try one organic body and skin treatments. When dinner time rolls around, treat yourself to a hearty steak at The Remington Restaurant. And as far as lodging goes, travelers say you won't be disappointed. Decked out in hardwood and leather furniture and stocked with deluxe amenities like flat-screen TVs and Bose Wave® music systems, the St. Regis is prepared for even the pickiest patron... Well, almost: Some guests complain that the beds felt a little sunken; but other than that, this member of the St. Regis Hotel family does right by its guests.
