U.S. News Review

Despite its name, the Viceroy Snowmass makes for a great luxury getaway with or without powder present. Rising prominently above Snowmass Village near some of the area's most popular slopes, this massive resort features a variety of outdoor activities, from skiing in the winter to hiking in the summer. Most visitors rave about the Viceroy's chic atmosphere and top-notch amenities: When you're not taking advantage of the great outdoors, recent guests recommend spending an hour or two getting pampered at the spa, lounging by the pool or enjoying a hearty meal at the on-site Eight K Restaurant. The guest rooms at this Viceroy resort also earn high praise, with travelers commending the elegant linens, massive flat-screen TVs and deep-soaking tubs. Meanwhile, the hotel's multiple-bedroom suites are convenient if you're traveling with kids or friends in tow.

Critic Reviews

“The modern, lodgelike look is perfect for the setting at the base of the slopes, and the motif carries over to the rooms and suites, sleek visions of contrasting colors and inspired design by Jean-Michel Gathy.”

“Perched like a Tibetan palace overlooking the Roaring Fork Valley, the Viceroy Snowmass is the undisputed king of the village. This ski-in ski-out property eschews the Colorado lodge feel with a modern European take that includes sleek furniture and luxurious amenities like soaking tubs and full galley kitchens.”
Award: Fodor's Choice

“Viceroy Snowmass is easily the most luxurious resort in Snowmass Village, and is packed with top-notch amenities, including a 7,000-square-foot spa with stunning relaxation room, a solid fitness center with modern Technogym equipment, and a lovely pool area with heated saline pool, cabanas, and fire pit.”

Condé Nast Traveler

“This year-round mountain escape 20 minutes from Aspen delivers 'phenomenal ambience and service' and is the first luxury Colorado property to be awarded LEED Gold certification.”
