Overlooking Lexington Avenue in Midtown, this Starwood Hotels family member is just a short walk from the shopping on Fifth Avenue and the entertainment at Radio City Music Hall, as well as some of the city's most popular attractions. For most guests, this primo real estate is the W New York's best feature; as for the hotel itself, travelers say it's average (at best). They describe the guestrooms as small and sparce, though travelers give a big thumbs-up to the beds. Guests also expressed mixed feelings about the customer service: Some describe the guests as friendly and helpful, while others cite their slow pace as a turn-off.
