Our Take: Located in the park's southeast corner, the Waldorf Astoria Orlando feels like a brighter version of its New York counterpart. Design elements like the infamous clock in the hotel lobby and dining establishments like Peacock Alley and the Bull & Bear Steakhouse are reproduced here. But the color scheme is decidedly Floridian, with citrus and sky blue hues accenting the formal yet modern décor. The big draw, however, is the 18-hole, Rees Jones-designed championship golf course, perfectly accompanied by the natural wetland backdrop. Recent guests say the rooms are just as resplendent, with Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries, Egyptian cotton linens, and twice-daily housekeeping.
