About these ratings

This museum, just like its name suggests, is all for the little ones. Exhibits include the Tot*Spot, for kids up to 35-months-old, which is complete with mirrors and a ball and pillow pit. Older kids will enjoy exhibits like Invention Convention, a mini engineering workshop, or EcoStation, an indoor/outdoor area where kids can do everything from bug collecting to leaf rubbings. Then there's the KLUTZ Amazingly Immature exhibit, which encourages children to embrace their "inner zany genius" and learn fun tricks like tablecloth pulling, juggling and card throwing.

Most travelers say it's less museum and more play place, but that makes it all the more engaging for the kids. "This is a fun and interactive family experience that combines science, art, physical activity and education. Just the right size for a fun day," said one TripAdvisor user.

You'll find the Children's Museum just northeast of Hermann Park. It's open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (with extended hours on Thursday until 8 p.m.), and on Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. Admission is $10 for both kids and adults. For more information, visit the website.
