|About these ratings|
This museum, just like its name suggests, is all for the little ones, ages six months to 12 years. Exhibits include the TotSpot, for kids up to 35-months-old, which is complete with mirrors and a ball and pillow pit. Older kids will enjoy exhibits like Invention Convention, a mini engineering workshop, or EcoStation, where kids can do everything from water-quality testing to leaf rubbings.
"My children are 3 and 1 years of age and they loved the museum!" says one TripAdvisor user. "We will certainly be going back." However, one mom tells TripAdvisor that the crowds are atrocious in the summer: "I would make sure to go in the fall," she writes. "There were so many people there it was quite overwhelming and took away from the experience."
You'll find the Children's Museum just northeast of Hermann Park. It's open all week, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on most days with extended hours on Thursday and shortened hours on Sunday. Admission is $8 for both kids and adults. For more information, visit the website.
