Just because the sun's gone down and the ski lifts have closed doesn't mean the fun has to stop. In the evenings, valley visitors head to the Jackson Hole Playhouse. This small dinner theater in downtown Jackson is famous for its country-style cuisine and its notable performances. According to recent audience members, the production was as lively as a Broadway show despite the venue's diminutive size.
Guests are welcome to skip the dining portion of the evening and come only for the show, but recent visitors don't recommend it. "The cast not only served dinner, they serenaded us during every course," writes one TripAdvisor user. "If you go, be sure to include dinner, it gives a personal connection to the cast." However, some recent audience members note that the food served here isn't of the highest quality.
The Jackson Hole Playhouse conducts performances every Monday through Saturday. Dinner reservations are taken for 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Showtime is at 8 p.m. after a short pre-show at 7:30 p.m. Tickets usually range from $19 to $52 per person, depending on which seats you choose, and dinner is served à la carte.
