| About these ratings | ||
One of Kansas City's most popular places to dine, shop, movie watch or simply just walk is the Country Club Plaza. This outdoor shopping district is mostly chain stores (Anthropologie, Cheesecake Factory and the like). But these restaurants and shops are showcased in high relief among the Spanish-style fountains, tiles and statues that fill the district.
One TripAdvisor user says: "It's a great place to spend an afternoon or evening browsing around the ritzy and trendy stores or browsing books in the 3 story Barnes and Noble. There are many great upscale restaurants and it is a great place for a romantic evening."
You'll find it just south of the Westport district. And by the way, if you're interested in barbecue, less than two miles west of the Plaza is the famed Oklahoma Joe's. For more information, visit the Country Club Plaza's website.
