| About these ratings | ||
Fodor's describes it as "one of the region's best-kept secrets." Others might call it a beautiful assortment of the bizarre. But di Rosa is truly an outdoor sculpture garden in California wine country. More than 2,000 works from more than 800 artists are scattered across 200 gorgeous acres and inside di Rosa's Gatehouse Gallery. Travelers find that a visit to di Rosa is an ideal break from the multitude of winery tours.
On describing his recent trip Napa, one TripAdvisor writer says: "If I had to pick one highlight from the trip it would have to be the di Rosa Preserve. We were given an excellent tour of di Rosa's estate and the sometimes bizarre but always interesting art collection."
Along Carneros Highway, di Rosa is open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. Admission is free, but there is a suggested $5 donation at the Gatehouse Gallery. Guided tours cost $10 to $15. For more information, check out di Rosa's website.
