Xaman-Ha Aviary

Xaman-Ha has roughly 200 individual birds showcased over 32 acres. In addition, it's the home of several rare plants, like the ya'axnik and guayabillo. But for most vacationers, this Playacar aviary is a little overpriced considering its size. Many recount paying approximately $5 USD when the facility first opened; that fee has ballooned to $20 in present day. And keep in mind that's per person, or as one TripAdvisor user notes: "They charged us approx 20 USD each to go in, there were four in our family so that was 80 USD. It took less than 20 mins to see everything they had, and most of it we saw already for free in the wild, or included with other things like Xcaret."
