| About these ratings | ||
There are a handful of notable wineries in and around Queenstown, but one that constantly earns acclaim is Peregrine. The vineyard's central building itself is inspired, reminiscent of a peregrine bird's wide wingspan. And its locale—blanketed with rolling, green hills and crowned with majestic mountains—is a beautiful place for the peregrine to land. Right now, the winery is producing Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Sauvignon Blanc, among other vintages.
One TripAdvisor visitor gave a glowing review of the entire experience: "After marveling at the design of their winery building we entered the cellar door. […] You have to taste their wines yourself but we thought they excelled."
You'll find Peregrine Wines in Gibbston, located east of Queenstown, along Kawarau Gorge Road. For more information, visit the vineyard's website.
