About these ratings

At the Einar Jónsson Museum, you can view sculptures both in and out of doors. Drawing on myths and folklore, Jónsson's sculptures have been described as emotive and even a little disturbing, in some cases, but regardless, his work is definitely masterly and some say a must-see.

One TripAdvisor user says, "The outside was captivating. At the back of the gallery is a well kept yard with an outstanding display of iron sculptures that defy imagination."

The museum is open Tuesdays through Sundays, June through September, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.; the rest of the year sees abbreviated hours. Admission is the equivalent of about $5.50 USD, but the outdoors sculpture park is free. For more information, visit the website
