About these ratings

Laugardalur Park is just one of the many places in Iceland that offers -- natural hot tubs, or "hot pots." At this park, visitors can soak in one of these outdoor hot pots, or relax in a geothermal pool, as well as swim some laps in a normal pool.

About the Laugardalur swimming pool, one IgoUgo.com user says, "it was geothermally heated, like almost all of Iceland, but it was more of a 'spa experience' than a pool." One TripAdvisor, who raves about this place, has a good warning for others: "Just beware: you must shower before swimming... in public! If you're shy about nudity, you may want to skip it and make sure your hotel has an indoor swimming pool." Another TripAdvisor user says, "Oh if we all could have open-air geothermally heated pools to swim and relax in after work as the Icelanders do! Long cold winters would not seem so long."

According to Fodor's you can take Bus S2, 14, or 15 east to Laugardalur Park.
