| About these ratings | ||
According to the New York Times, "Midtown, the area bordered roughly by 17th and 29th Streets and H and P Streets, may be Sacramento’s hippest district." It's where you'll discover an eclectic mix of eateries, perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out on the town. Before your meal, meander through the funky art galleries nearby. And once you have a full stomach, settle in at the B Street Theatre, which hosts new and old productions of a high caliber. Midtown is the epicenter of the Sacramento's arts scene, and recent visitors insist that it would be a shame not to visit. To cap off the night, hit one or two of the bars like Mercantile Saloon or 58 Degrees & Holding, which have character and host easygoing locals.
