This bright-pink Sanibel landmark started out as a one-room schoolhouse in 1896. Now, it’s the 90-seat BIG ARTS Herb Strauss Theater, a performance venue that welcomes Broadway shows, live music concerts and comedy acts. According to both locals and visitors, the "Schoolhouse Theater" is a treasure.
"The shows are always fabulous," gushes one TripAdvisor writer. "My family and I have been visiting Sanibel for six years and each time the show is fantastic. Always funny and the actors are so talented!"
