| About these ratings | ||
Sedona features a rich history dating back thousands of years. For those of you interested in its rich heritage, the Sedona Heritage Museum is a great place to start. Housed in a 20th-century cabin in Jordan Historical Park, this small facility features exhibits and artifacts detailing the town's varied past, from its days as a Native American settlement to its new role as a spiritual mecca.
Recent visitors say that the museum is worth a look if you have extra time. While many praise the museum's informative displays, one TripAdvisor user writes: "We missed a lot of the information without the audio tour. The audio prompts referred to incidents that were not mentioned otherwise ... we felt like we were being punished for not participating."
The Sedona Heritage Museum is located on Jordan Road just off the northern stretch of Highway 89A. The museum is open every day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and admission is $5 per person. For more information, check out the museum's website.
