| About these ratings | ||
Nicknamed "Asia's Favorite Playground," Sentosa is an entire island dedicated to fun. You want family-friendly amusement; head to Universal Studios Singapore. You need some relaxing beach time; then stake your claim on two miles of sandy shore. You feel the urge to swing a nine iron; hit the tee boxes at the Sentosa Golf Club. And that's only a few of the activities you can do on Sentosa.
While Sentosa is a vacation destination unto itself that could consume a whole week, we suggest that you set aside one day from touring Singapore's cultural sites for some island fun. One VirtualTourist user reports, "Any visitor wouldn't want to miss this lovely island. It's everything packed in a single place. One could choose to head to the beach, or … visit lots of interesting sites."
You can reach Sentosa by crossing the Sentosa Boardwalk, which connects the resort island to Singapore. Just take the MRT to the HarbourFront station, which is at the foot of the boardwalk. Once you're there, you can either walk across the bridge or take a trolley, bus, cable car or tram to the island. And come anytime because Sentosa welcomes visitors 24/7.
