| About these ratings | ||
Though this winery is only an approximate 10-minute drive south of central Williamsburg, travelers describe it as a decent daytrip and a break from the numerous historical sites in town.
On the other hand, wine connoisseurs might be a little disappointed. "The wine tasting was too rushed," says a TripAdvisor reviewer. "It was like doing shots of wine instead of sipping and tasting." Casual fans of the grape should be more than pleased with the experience, especially considering tastings only cost $10 per person.
You could also opt for one of the tour and tasting packages, which are offered for no more than $36 per person. Visit Williamsburg Winery's official website for further information. The winery opens at 10 or 11 a.m. each day and stays open until 6 p.m. from April to October and until 5 p.m. from November to March.
