Thou Shalt Not Wrestle a Bear

The gulf waters like those at Orange Beach, Ala. were affected by the BP oil spill of the spring 2010. But what the area is less-known for is its unusual ban on bear wrestling. In 2006, Alabama declared it unlawful to promote, engage in, or be employed at a bear match; it's also illegal to surgically alter a bear for it to participate in wrestling matches.
