The Great Temple of Ramses II, Egypt

Many don't realize that this awesome sight of southern Egypt originally had another home. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) disassembled both of Abu Simbel's temples and moved them to a cliff 200 feet above its original spot, to prevent their submersion in a nearby reservoir.
