The hotel’s elegance continues throughout the property's 149 guest rooms and suites, all of which come with writing desks, minibars, free high-speed Wi-Fi access and flat-screen TVs with DVD players, in addition to limo service and 24-hour room service. Situated along the Schottenring section of Vienna's famous Ring Boulevard, the Palais Hansen Kempinski Vienna has welcomed guests since it opened in 1873 for the Vienna World Exhibition. Today, its 24-hour business center, ballroom and multiple conference rooms make it a prime spot for meetings and events, while its perfumer, two restaurants and luxury spa – complete with a hydro pool, six treatment rooms, a fitness center and several saunas – make the hotel ideal for leisure travelers wanting to relax. Recent visitors appreciated the property's attentive and helpful staff, as well as the complimentary in-room Wi-Fi access, colorful decor, desks and Nespresso machines provided in the property's 152 guest rooms and suites. However, some found the housekeeping service to be lacking. The Michelin-starred cuisine at Edvard received high praise, as did breakfast at Die Küche Wien. Just prepare to pay a pretty penny for the meal, unless you book a package that includes breakfast. - View all PhotosPark Hyatt ViennaVienna0.2 miles to city center5.0-star Hotel Class5.0-star Hotel Class

A stay at The Guesthouse Vienna is all about location, location, location, according to recent guests. Its address in the heart of Austria's biggest city puts travelers close to just about everything they could ever need. Bars, restaurants and shops can be found on just about every block, and popular attractions, such as St. Stephen's Cathedral, Hofburg Palace, the Museum of Fine Arts and House of Music, are all within walking distance of the property. The Guesthouse's accommodations stand out in that they resemble the kind of old-world elegance seen in many top European hotels. Instead, rooms here are both modern in design and amenities, featuring ultra-sleek furnishings and contemporary artwork in addition to rainforest showers, espresso machines, TVs and towel radiators. (Some do warn, however, that the standard accommodations are on the smaller side.) What's more, all drinks in the minibar (except for spirits) are included in the room rate. The on-site Brasserie & Bakery – another guest favorite – serves food all day and offers kids menus. Service was also a big standout at this property: Guests described the staff as friendly and helpful, and strongly suggested relying on the concierge for activity recommendations. - View all PhotosThe Ritz-Carlton, ViennaVienna0.7 miles to city center5.0-star Hotel Class5.0-star Hotel Class

The Hotel Sans Souci Wien has been a fixture in central Vienna since the historic building finished construction in 1872. After the Sans Souci Group acquired it in 2010, the property underwent a complete renovation to modernize the space while preserving some of its original details. Now, rooms and suites feature bright white interiors with wood floors and contemporary artwork, plus amenities like walk-in showers, complimentary Wi-Fi access and flat-screen TVs. Though some encountered air conditioning issues and thin walls that let in street noise, most former guests were impressed with their accommodations' comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. But the highlights of this Preferred LVX outpost are its free breakfast buffet at Veranda, tranquil spa and pool, attentive staff and prime location near sights like the MuseumsQuartier and the Museum of Fine Arts. Other parts of the city can be reached by taking the Wiener Linien's U-Bahn (Vienna's subway system) or the streetcar from their respective Volkstheater stops, which can be found about a block away from the hotel. - View all PhotosHotel SalzburgerhofSalzburg, 534.8 miles to city center5.0-star Hotel Class5.0-star Hotel Class
