Since opening its doors in 2011, this property has sparkled brightly from its perch along Baltimore's Harbor. Offering stunning views of the Inner Harbor, the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore places guests in the vibrant Harbor East neighborhood with easy access to local eateries and shops. Apart from the top-notch location, recent guests love the stylish lobby, gorgeous pool area and, of course, the Four Seasons' signature impeccable service. Visitors also praise this hotel's elegant accommodations, appointed with marble bathrooms, plush down comforters, cozy terrycloth robes and flat-screen TVs. When your stomach starts to rumble, you'll have your pick from two hotel dining establishments, and recent visitors say you can't go wrong at either. They're so popular, in fact, that it can be difficult to snag a table at last minute, so book well in advance to ensure availability.

TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 587 reviewsTripAdvisor (587)

Backed by Under Armour founder Kevin Plank, the Sagamore Pendry Baltimore opened in March 2017. The waterfront hotel enjoys an excellent location in downtown Baltimore's historic Fell's Point neighborhood and sits near must-see sights, including the Inner Harbor and Patterson Park, and numerous restaurants and bars. However, this property's own bar has become a popular haunt for locals and visitors alike. The hotel is also home to the Italian-influenced Rec Pier Chop House and a seasonal pool bar and grill. The outdoor, infinity-edge pool is another selling point for visitors: It overlooks the harbor and is surrounded by lounge chairs and cabanas. Indoors, guests have access to a 24-hour fitness center and ample meeting and event space. (The property is a popular Baltimore wedding venue, too). As far as accommodations go, all of the 128 guest rooms and suites combine Baltimore's heritage and history with modern amenities and design. Rooms feature stocked minibars, marble bathrooms and free Wi-Fi access. Previous guests said their stays here were exceptional thanks to the friendly staff members, great location and well-designed rooms. But room rates are pricey, so iPrefer Hotel Rewards members may want to use points to pay for rooms.

TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 216 reviewsTripAdvisor (216)
    Free WiFi

Culture lovers will feel right at home at the Hotel Revival, which sits in Baltimore's Mount Vernon neighborhood and flaunts a collection of art curated from a local program. Once a private mansion, the hotel showcases Baltimore's storied culture throughout its common areas and guest rooms. After walking or driving past the parks, galleries and churches that dot the surrounding area, travelers will step into the hotel's lobby, which displays a massive mural commemorating the area's history. Each of Hotel Revival's uniquely decorated accommodations comes equipped with free Wi-Fi access, a minifridge, a 49-inch smart TV and Jonathan Adler bath products. On-site amenities include valet parking (for a fee), a 24-hour fitness center, two restaurants and a karaoke bar. And when you're ready to explore the city, the concierge can point you in the right direction. One drawback: Despite not having a pool, a spa or a business center, this property charges a $12.95 nightly amenity fee on top of room rates, which some recent guests said already felt expensive. However, other past visitors said that they had a unique and outstanding time at this hotel, which is about a mile north of Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

    Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel
    Baltimore, MD
#7 in Best Hotels in Baltimore
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 2006 reviewsTripAdvisor (2006)

It doesn't get more central than this: The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel sits right on the water in the heart of the Inner Harbor. The area's most-loved attractions rest just outside the front door, including the National Aquarium, USS Constellation, Federal Hill Park and the harbor's best eateries. Overall, visitors said the staff was courteous and helpful. Business travelers report a pleasant stay thanks to the Renaissance's business center and proximity to the convention center. The accommodations, outfitted with simplistic decor and amenities like flat-screen TVs, minifridges, cozy robes and custom duvets, also earn high marks from recent guests. And previous patrons say the flavorful American fare served at Watertable Restaurant left them feeling more than satisfied. The only sour note, according to past guests, was the high price for overnight parking. If you participate in Marriott's rewards program, you may earn points to use toward freebies, such as complimentary nights, by choosing to stay here.

The Hyatt Regency boasts a pleasant combination of comfort and indulgence. Perched on the northwest corner of the Inner Harbor, the hotel is just a stone's throw from Baltimore's most popular attractions. And should you prefer to stay on the property grounds, you'll have the hotel's StayFit fitness center and the modern Bistro 300 restaurant at your service. However, recent guests offer mixed opinions about their experience at the Hyatt Regency – some say that this hotel's simplistic decor and minimal facilities aren't worth its steep nightly rates. Many guests also complain of thin walls and late-night street traffic. That said, most previous visitors report a satisfactory stay overall thanks to its location and spacious accommodations, appointed with flat-screen TVs, stocked minibars and iPod docking stations. Plus, guests who are part of the Hyatt Gold Passport program may accrue or redeem extras like free stays.
