    Las Hadas by Brisas
    Manzanillo
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 1585 reviewsTripAdvisor (1585)
Located on the small peninsula that juts into the Pacific Ocean from Manzanillo, Las Hadas by Brisas specializes in all things coastal. Guests say that this resort's quarter-mile-long stretch of sand is calm and ideal for snorkeling, and its marina makes a great jumping-off point for fishing excursions. And because of this resort's close proximity to Las Hadas Golf Course, guests can opt for a specialized golf package that grants them complimentary greens fees. The resort itself is gleaming white, featuring Arabian-inspired architectural elements like graceful arches and spires. And though some previous visitors say the decor is a bit outdated, most agree that Las Hadas' 234 guest rooms and suites are comfortable, and approve of the private terraces or balconies and Gilchrist & Soames bath products (some accommodations also boast private plunge pools). In terms of dining, the resort houses four restaurants. While Los Delfines Restaurant earns high praise from past patrons, some do caution that the food leans toward the pricier side. I Prefer rewards members will be glad to find they can earn perks for staying at this Preferred Hotels & Resorts outpost.

    Barceló Karmina Palace Deluxe
    Manzanillo
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 4030 reviewsTripAdvisor (4030)

Situated next to Las Hadas golf course (with a calm Pacific cove to the south), Barceló Karmina Palace Deluxe's location in Manzanillo is almost unrivaled, according to past guests. And even though some previous visitors do caution that its beach is a bit rocky, you can still soak up the sun by this all-inclusive's six interconnecting pools or around the resort's lush grounds. Inside the Mayan temple-inspired buildings, Barceló Karmina boasts 324 suites that come with Internet access (for a fee) and minibars, as well as balconies and dining rooms. However, you probably won't be doing much in-room dining as there are four restaurants and five snack bars throughout the property, which guests say are quite tasty (especially the Mexican fare at Agave Restaurant).
