    Faena Hotel Miami Beach
    Miami Beach, FL
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 1193 reviewsTripAdvisor (1193)
    Free WiFi
Recent lodgers said their stays at the Faena Hotel Miami Beach were next to perfect. Past guests gushed about the staff's attention to detail and genuine friendliness. Accommodations received tons of praise as well, and were described by reviewers as spacious (the smallest rooms measure 464 square feet), well-appointed and downright chic. Rooms are decorated in a modern, South American style and come outfitted with sleek wooden furnishings and colorful accents. Other amenities include flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi access and marble bathrooms with walk-in showers. Some standard rooms are also equipped with furnished balconies, and most rooms offer ocean views. What's more, you'll have access to a Faena Butler to arrange any request. Dining here is also a big attraction. Travelers say you can't leave without grabbing a bite at Pao by Paul Qui (just make sure to reserve a table in advance). The hotel's other dining venues include Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann, which specializes in South American grilling, and the Veranda, which serves breakfast. There are also an outdoor bar, a lobby lounge and a bar with live DJs. Additionally, the Faena boasts an Old Hollywood-style theater that hosts cabaret shows, as well as the Tierra Santa Healing House spa. You can find this highly acclaimed hotel in the heart of Miami Beach, Florida. But be forewarned: Guests say a stay here is pricey. However, this property's affiliation with The Leading Hotels of the World means Leaders Club members can enjoy perks like welcome gifts and free upgrades.

TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 1304 reviewsTripAdvisor (1304)

Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa is a little farther removed from the other luxury oceanfront properties of Palm Beach, Florida; as such, you can anticipate a little more privacy on your beach days. If you stay at this resort in Manalapan, you'll find yourself 12 miles south of West Palm Beach hot spots like Clematis Street. This Preferred Legend property has taken the area by storm, with recent visitors raving about the resort's array of unique offerings. The spacious guest rooms feature beachy yellow and blue hues, plus amenities like complimentary Wi-Fi access, soaking tubs and balconies or terraces overlooking the resort grounds or ocean. Meanwhile, travelers say the spa's treatments and services are worth the extra coin; or, you can get your R&R fix alongside one of the outdoor pools. Eau Palm Beach also offers diversions for children, such as the AquaNuts kids program (with activities for those ages 5 to 12), or the Coast Beauty Salon (with kids hair, nail and makeup treatments). The Setai, Miami Beach
    Miami, FL
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 1255 reviewsTripAdvisor (1255)
    Free WiFi
The Setai, Miami Beach blatantly spurns Miami Beach, Florida's neon reputation in favor of a classier ambiance, and recent guests appreciate it. Rather than funky decor and bright colors, the art deco-era property is filled with classy Asian-inspired design elements. Meanwhile, suites feature a muted beige and brown color palette and are outfitted with amenities like Frette linens, flat-screen LED TVs and rainfall showers. Although The Setai's environment may induce relaxation on the spot, previous guests highly recommend a visit to the in-house spa, which offers a wide array of massages and skin treatments and houses a private bath, a steam room and a fitness center. You'll also have access to not one, but three on-site infinity pools, as well as gourmet Mediterranean, American or Asian cuisine at The Setai's three restaurants. However, the property's family-friendly amenities are limited. Don't plan on spending all your time at the hotel: Travelers praise The Setai's prime location near South Beach and the The Bass. And Leaders Club members are in luck – as part of The Leading Hotels of the World, this property grants perks like welcome gifts and upgrades.

Travelers and critics alike gush over this Italian Renaissance-style resort. High on their list of perks are the gorgeous grounds, which feature two golf courses, four pools, a private beach and 10 Har-Tru tennis courts. And the genial front desk staff will probably recommend you spend a day in the relaxing spa. As for lodging, the guest rooms come with custom furnishings and high-end linens, as well as flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi access. Yet not all previous travelers were impressed, noting that the resort's rooms are small, dated and pricey. However, many recent guests raved about the on-site restaurants, recommending The Beach Club Restaurant for breakfast or lunch and the Flagler Steakhouse for an elegant dinner. Located on Collins Avenue just north of South Beach, COMO Metropolitan Miami Beach offers the best of both worlds for travelers seeking close access to the nightlife hot spots on Ocean Drive without the crowds. According to recent visitors, this boutique hotel has exceptional service and a personable staff. Guests also commend the high quality of food at the on-site Traymore by Michael Schwartz, which includes locally sourced seafood. Travelers can also dine poolside in cabanas or unwind at the COMO Shambhala Urban Escape wellness center. Boca Beach Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort
    Boca Raton, FL
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 2683 reviewsTripAdvisor (2683)
    Free WiFi
The Boca Beach Club abandons some of the stodgy pretentions that have now become associated with luxury accommodations. Instead, it embraces a concept they've coined as "barefoot elegance." The clean, modern rooms are a little more bright and airy than what would be found at your typical Waldorf Astoria resort; the white down bedding in the rooms – as well as the other textiles – are a little lighter to the touch. What's more, standard rooms offer spacious bathrooms with separate rainfall showers and soaking tubs, floor-to-ceiling windows that open and Wi-Fi access (which the $40 daily resort fee covers). And according to those who've stayed here, the hospitality staff is very friendly and laid-back. You'll also get the benefit of enjoying many top-notch amenities like a private beach, three yummy restaurants, an Orangetheory pop-in studio with fee-based fitness classes and three pools (plus several more at the resort's sister property, the Boca Raton Resort & Club). You can also test the greens at the sister resort's two golf courses. The Boca Beach Club sits on South Ocean Boulevard in southern Boca Raton, Florida. If you're a Hilton Honors member, you can accrue and redeem points by choosing to bed down here.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando, Florida, is as opulent as it gets when it comes to Walt Disney World accommodations. The Victorian era is revived in the decor found in the five-story lobby – complete with an open-cage elevator and magnificent chandeliers – and the plush guest rooms. Lodging options here come equipped with amenities like flat-screen TVs, minifridges and complimentary Wi-Fi access; however, some travelers say the rooms in Disney's flagship resort are beginning to feel a bit tired. And though the Grand Floridian is kid-friendly with loads of activities, the posh resort is the best bet for couples looking for a quieter place to stay near the parks. Extras like afternoon high tea and daily piano performances in the lobby lend an elegant tone, but there are still fun perks like character breakfasts for the kids. (Youngsters can also transform into Disney princesses or knights at the property's Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.) Another perk about staying at the Grand Floridian: having an on-site monorail station that is just one stop away from the Magic Kingdom.

    Four Seasons Hotel Miami
    Miami, FL
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 2072 reviewsTripAdvisor (2072)
Surely there are crazier things you could do than pick a hotel solely on the merits of its fitness center, right? After all, the gym at this Brickell Avenue Four Seasons is pretty spectacular: It measures a whopping 50,000 square feet and boasts a smorgasbord of cardiovascular equipment, more than 100 exercise classes a week, certified trainers and more. The only drawback – if you could call it that – would be that it's not open 24 hours. But not everyone comes here to work out, and the Four Seasons Hotel Miami staff knows this, offering friendly, personalized service to everyone who walks in the door, according to recent guests. Because of its downtown Miami location, the hotel caters to business travelers, offering a 24-hour business center and complimentary car service to get guests to any local meeting destinations. Valet and self-parking are also available should you want to drive yourself around town, though past visitors warned that the rates are high. Room amenities include luxury bath products, LCD televisions with DVD players, minibars and complimentary Wi-Fi access. However, don't spend all your time hunkered down in your digs: Previous travelers highly recommended spending the afternoon by the hotel's swanky palm-peppered pool. And at the end of the day, treat yourself to a gourmet meal at EDGE Steak & Bar.

    One Ocean Resort & Spa
    Atlantic Beach, FL
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 1287 reviewsTripAdvisor (1287)
    Free WiFi
Travelers say that One Ocean Resort & Spa goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Someone will be on hand to unpack for you, steam your evening wear and shine your shoes. Valets remember your name and room number when you return from a busy day of sightseeing, and the bartender in Azurea's lounge has started mixing your favorite drink before you've even had a chance to order it. These little touches go a long way with vacationers. However, there are a few disgruntled guests that recall niggling fees for parking and resort amenities. Although the website touts that specially curated snacks and nonalcoholic beverages are included in the resort fee, recent guests don't appreciate the additional $33 per day charge. And the breakfast, though tasty, costs a pretty penny. Nevertheless, all 193 guest rooms and suites boast floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the Atlantic Ocean, though standard rooms have limited views. Modern conveniences like flat-screen televisions, Keurig coffee makers, Molton Brown toiletries and Wi-Fi access come standard in all accommodations. You'll find the One Ocean Resort & Spa in Atlantic Beach, Florida, about 15 miles due east of downtown Jacksonville.

This resort evokes memories of a classic Florida vacation. Located on resort-congested Mandalay Avenue, the Sandpearl Resort boasts plenty of activities for kids. The seasonal Camp Ridley will occupy children ages 5 to 10 with arts and crafts projects and scavenger hunts for half-day sessions, freeing you up to sample a few spa treatments, rent a marina slip for sailing the Clearwater area or enjoy a leisurely lunch at the guest-praised Caretta on the Gulf. And when it's time to bed down, you'll find amenities like a flat-screen TV, a minifridge, a coffee maker and an alarm clock in your room or suite. Although most recent guests raved about the well-appointed rooms, they also bemoaned the tacked-on $29 resort fee and extra charge for parking. The Sandpearl Resort sits on Caladesi Island, a barrier island in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge in Orlando, Florida, is one of the more unique Walt Disney World properties. No, it's not the lobby's thatched roof and the chandeliers made out of warrior shield reproductions – although the decor is worth noting – it's the four savannas right outside your door. The resort is set up in a kraal design (a semi-circular shape that's common in Africa) with balconies overlooking wild grasslands, making it all the better for you to see the ostriches, giraffes and zebras that roam the grounds. Guest rooms are pretty standard. Aside from decorative touches like carved wood furnishings and fabrics inspired by Kente cloth, you'll find all the usual makings of a high-end hotel, including complimentary Wi-Fi access, floor-to-ceiling windows, minifridges and coffee makers. Meanwhile, the downstairs Boma – Flavors of Africa restaurant is highly regarded for its creative cuisine. And when you're not enjoying the park, guests recommend making use of the on-site pools and playground. Disney's Yacht Club Resort is Disney Beach Club Resort's ritzier sister property; the two share a stretch of land along the shores of the lake near Walt Disney World. The stylish Yacht Club Resort echoes the upscale feel of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, Massachusetts, complete with dark wood accents and leather furniture; meanwhile, rooms have wooden and white furnishings, plus white, tan, brown and navy color schemes. Accommodations here also feature complimentary Wi-Fi access, flat-screen TVs and minifridges. This Disney outpost definitely has a more adult vibe than the neighboring Beach Club, but children should feel welcome thanks to the kid-friendly pool, an on-site arcade and the nearby Fantasia mini-golf course. On-site restaurants, particularly the Yachtsman Steakhouse, come highly recommended by previous visitors, though some suggest making early reservations to ensure you get a table. Aside from the amenities, it is the Yacht Club's convenient location that has many recent guests gushing. You can either walk or take a boat to Epcot. However, all of these amenities and services come at a price some say is too high.

Set on Walt Disney World's northwest side, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort features a South Pacific theme: Koi ponds are scattered throughout the grounds, and palm trees support hammocks (and reposing guests) along a stretch of the lagoon's beachfront. The long and narrow buildings have thatched roofs and torch-lit walkways, while the guest rooms are done up in brown and green hues. However, some recent guests comment that the decor makes guest rooms feel a bit dark at night. Meanwhile, others aren't sure if this hotel is worth its high room rates. Still, most praise the Polynesian for its monorail station (which makes it a great home base for exploring the parks), as well as its popular Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. And visitors with kids say that the Lava Pool (complete with a 142-foot-long waterslide) is a big hit with the little ones. For a little more serenity, head to the Oasis Pool. TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 2565 reviewsTripAdvisor (2565)
Recent guests are quick to point out the convenience this hotel provides for business travelers. This Hilton hotel is located in downtown Miami, specifically in the city's business district, so amenities and activities aren't as plentiful. Despite this, travelers praise the property's staff for their outstanding service and appreciate the cool, sleek decor that permeates in every corner of the hotel. Rooms maintain that sense of luxury, featuring espresso machines, pillow menus and 55-inch flat-screen Smart TVs. There are also a spa, a 24-hour fitness center, two tennis courts and a palm-tree-lined pool. When it's time to refuel, try the upscale food at LvL 25 or enjoy a drink at The Bar at Level 25. This Omni resort has several features that place it above its competitors, especially with visiting families. First, there's the family-friendly swimming pool – a zero-entry one equipped with a 125-foot-long corkscrew waterslide. Then, there's the resort arcade, which stays open 24 hours a day. And lastly, the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate offers supervised children's activities at Camp Omni Kids Escape. The resort also provides scheduled shuttle service to Walt Disney World as part of the property's daily resort fee. Meanwhile, previous guests appreciate that the Omni Orlando Resort doesn't overlook other types of visitors. The resort boasts two championship golf courses and the lighted nine-hole course for putting. And recent vacationers tout the swanky ZEN restaurant – which serves Asian meals – as the front-runner of this Omni's dining establishments. But perhaps most importantly, travelers are impressed by the Omni Orlando Resort's rooms, which feature amenities like flat-screen TVs and, in some instances, private balconies. This super-lush resort stretches across much of the ChampionsGate community in the Orlando area.

Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is definitely eye-catching. Situated along Walt Disney World Resort's Village Lake, this resort looks as though it stepped out of New York's Saratoga Springs area in the late 1800s, when the regenerative springs and horse racing made that town all the rage. But more importantly than looks, recent guests adore the first-rate, personalized customer service they received starting from the moment they checked in. The rooms also earn high praise, especially from larger family groups who appreciate the amount of space each accommodation affords. A consistent guest favorite are the Treehouse Villas, which sit suspended off the ground in a wooden grove. And regardless of whether you choose a studio, a one- or two-bedroom villa or a Treehouse Villa, you can count on staples like minifridges and coffee makers, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi access and Victorian-inspired touches, such as patchwork quilts. Keep in mind that this is one of the few Disney properties that isn't within walking distance of any Walt Disney World sites; still, guests praise the complimentary bus transfers, which run between the resort and the Disney theme parks. Other guest-praised amenities include the High Rock Spring Pool and Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course.
