The glass structure next door to the Peppermill Casino houses 600 suites that are decorated in crimson and gold, from their custom armchairs to their plush king-sized beds. (While guests love how spacious the accommodations are, some find the decor to be a little too much.) Inside your guest room, you'll find an LCD TV in the marble bathroom, as well as a Keurig coffee maker and a minifridge. Located just 2 miles outside of downtown Reno, Nevada, the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino is a nightlife enthusiast's paradise. Previous visitors cannot stop raving about this massive complex, which features an 80,000-square-foot casino, a 2,700-seat concert venue and a 25,000-square-foot nightclub. And don't worry about leaving the kids at home during your stay: The Grand Sierra has plenty of activities for its younger guests, including a 9,000-square-foot laser tag arena, go-karts, mini-golf, a movie theater and a 50-lane bowling alley. The resort also offers plenty of variety with its cuisine; you'll have your pick of eight eateries. Former guests appreciated the variety of choices offered throughout the property but especially enjoyed the buffet. After a fun-filled day, visitors can retire to one of the property's guest rooms.
