Compared to the luxe Reef at Atlantis and the adults-only Cove at Atlantis, The Royal at Atlantis is the most kid-friendly branch of the Atlantis Bahamas properties, starting with one of the largest open-air marine habitats in the world (which resides in the lobby). Recent guests praised The Royal at Atlantis' rooms, which feature flat-screen high-definition TVs, 24-hour room service and French balconies that open to harbor or ocean views. But the best part about staying here is having access to Atlantis amenities like the 141-acre water park, one of the Caribbean's largest casinos, the Mandara Spa and an 18-hole golf course. Though there are 24 on-site restaurants, plus coffee shops, bars and lounges, previous visitors recommend going into Nassau (about 5 miles south of the property) for meals to avoid shelling out a pretty penny for pricey meals at the resort. Travelers can also cash in accrued Marriott Bonvoy points for stays here.

Although each Atlantis Bahamas branch shares access to a water park and a golf course, The Coral at Atlantis touts perhaps the most important amenity: An ideal location. Centrally situated amidst Atlantis' lagoons on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, this family-friendly Autograph Collection property – which was renovated in 2017 – is steps from the Coral Pool, the resort's casino and the shops at Crystal Court and the Marina Village. Because of its abundance of  activities, various entertainment options and 21 restaurants, recent guests liken The Coral at Atlantis to an immobile cruise ship, without the endless supply of prepaid dining. However, several past visitors lamented the high room rates. To help cut down costs, members of the Marriott Bonvoy program can use points to pay for rooms here.
