This GRUPO IBEROSTAR outpost sits less than 14 miles northeast of the famous nightlife destination. This 388-room GRUPO IBEROSTAR resort, which sits 13 miles northeast of downtown Playa del Carmen, Mexico, covers a multitude of activities and amenities in its all-inclusive rates. You'll have access to four pools, tennis courts, a nightclub and a kids camp. Plus, you can partake in water sports like kayaking and windsurfing at the beach, though previous travelers warned that seaweed might be prevalent. This all-inclusive IBEROSTAR resort earns high praise from previous guests for its family-friendly atmosphere. Guests of all ages (especially younger ones) will enjoy playing at the lazy river or three swimming pools. Meanwhile, you can catch up on some adults-only time with your better half. Sign the little ones (ages 4 to 12) up for the Kid's Club, where they can play games and watch movies while you lounge by the pool, unwind at the spa or test the links at the 18-hole golf course. Though spa services and tee times aren't part of the IBEROSTAR Paraíso Lindo's all-inclusive package, meals at the five on-site restaurants (as well as entrees served at the neighboring IBEROSTAR Paraíso Maya's eateries), are covered. Some previous visitors feel that the rooms' outdated decor didn't live up to this IBEROSTAR's price tag, but they do appreciate the in-suite amenities, such as minibars, cable TVs and coffee service, as well as balconies overlooking the pool, garden or jungle. You'll find the IBEROSTAR Paraíso Lindo rubbing shoulders with its sibling, the IBEROSTAR Grand Hotel Paraíso, along the Riviera Maya sands, just 13 miles northeast of Playa del Carmen.
