Conservatorium visitors praise this Amsterdam hotel for its superb location in Museum Square. Within walking distance, you'll find Vondelpark and many of the city's museums, including the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum. Travelers also rave about the property's design. Though the Conservatorium's exterior reflects the building's 19th-century roots, inside, the property boasts modern facilities like a glass-enclosed atrium and a nearly 11,000-square-foot wellness center. Contemporary features like pendant lights, mirrors with TVs, walk-in rain showers and free Wi-Fi can be found in the hotel's 129 guest rooms and suites as well. If you have a flexible budget, consider upgrading to one of the property's suites, which offer additional space and picturesque city views. Some are even outfitted with original architectural details like curved windows and wooden beams. Additionally, the hotel has a few bars and eateries, where cocktails, casual bites, afternoon tea and Asian-inspired fare are served. And when you're ready to explore Amsterdam, travelers recommend meeting with the property's friendly and helpful concierges, who will book everything from tours and attraction passes to dinner reservations. Part of the Leading Hotels of the World, the property participates in the Leaders Club loyalty program.

De L'Europe sits in the city center along a bend overlooking one of Amsterdam's many canals. This elegant property has a lot going for it: Guests can dine at the Michelin-starred restaurant (Bord'Eau) and canalfront cafe, relax with a facial at the spa or with a book in the library, sample cigars or enjoy cocktails at Freddy's Bar. TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 2899 reviewsTripAdvisor (2899)

Perched on the banks of the Amstel Canal and nestled close to both Amsterdam's business and shopping districts, Hotel Okura Amsterdam is ideally located for both business and leisure travelers. What's more, foodies should take note that the hotel has a two-star Michelin restaurant, two one-star Michelin restaurants and a Bib Gourmand by Michelin restaurant on the premises. Ciel Bleu Restaurant (two Michelin stars) serves international cuisine paired with an award-winning wine list while Yamazato (one Michelin star) serves traditional Japanese cuisine. Additionally, the hotel's Teppanyaki Restaurant Sazanka is the first restaurant of its kind in Europe to receive a Michelin star. Guests can also visit the more casual Serre, which serves international cuisine and cocktails. Outside of the restaurants, guests will find the Japanese-style spa, Nagomi Spa & Health, along with several meeting spaces. Guest rooms and suites include complimentary Wi-Fi access, Nespresso coffee makers, a pillow menu, bathrobes and slippers, and bathrooms that feature a separate tub and rainfall shower. And while the staff, location and well-appointed rooms all received high praise from recent guests, the real standout amenities at this property are the Michelin-starred restaurants, though they are pricey.
