    Faena Hotel Miami Beach
    Miami Beach, FL
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 1193 reviewsTripAdvisor (1193)
    Free WiFi
Recent lodgers said their stays at the Faena Hotel Miami Beach were next to perfect. Past guests gushed about the staff's attention to detail and genuine friendliness. Accommodations received tons of praise as well, and were described by reviewers as spacious (the smallest rooms measure 464 square feet), well-appointed and downright chic. Rooms are decorated in a modern, South American style and come outfitted with sleek wooden furnishings and colorful accents. Other amenities include flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi access and marble bathrooms with walk-in showers. Some standard rooms are also equipped with furnished balconies, and most rooms offer ocean views. What's more, you'll have access to a Faena Butler to arrange any request. Dining here is also a big attraction. Travelers say you can't leave without grabbing a bite at Pao by Paul Qui (just make sure to reserve a table in advance). The hotel's other dining venues include Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann, which specializes in South American grilling, and the Veranda, which serves breakfast. There are also an outdoor bar, a lobby lounge and a bar with live DJs. Additionally, the Faena boasts an Old Hollywood-style theater that hosts cabaret shows, as well as the Tierra Santa Healing House spa. You can find this highly acclaimed hotel in the heart of Miami Beach, Florida. But be forewarned: Guests say a stay here is pricey. The Setai, Miami Beach
    Miami, FL
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 1255 reviewsTripAdvisor (1255)
    Free WiFi
The Setai, Miami Beach blatantly spurns Miami Beach, Florida's neon reputation in favor of a classier ambiance, and recent guests appreciate it. Rather than funky decor and bright colors, the art deco-era property is filled with classy Asian-inspired design elements. Meanwhile, suites feature a muted beige and brown color palette and are outfitted with amenities like Frette linens, flat-screen LED TVs and rainfall showers. Although The Setai's environment may induce relaxation on the spot, previous guests highly recommend a visit to the in-house spa, which offers a wide array of massages and skin treatments and houses a private bath, a steam room and a fitness center. You'll also have access to not one, but three on-site infinity pools, as well as gourmet Mediterranean, American or Asian cuisine at The Setai's three restaurants. However, the property's family-friendly amenities are limited. Don't plan on spending all your time at the hotel: Travelers praise The Setai's prime location near South Beach and the The Bass. And Leaders Club members are in luck – as part of The Leading Hotels of the World, this property grants perks like welcome gifts and upgrades.

To put it bluntly, The Brazilian Court Palm Beach is gorgeous – from the mahogany furniture in the guest rooms to the plush white lounge chairs around the outdoor pool. The Biltmore Miami Coral Gables

TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 2046 reviewsTripAdvisor (2046)

If you have a hankering for nostalgia, consider booking a stay at this landmark property. Everyone from Judy Garland to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor to Al Capone has stayed at The Leading Hotels of the World-affiliated Biltmore. Capone even ran an under-the-radar casino here, and legend has it that the 271 rooms and suites are still haunted by the ghosts of past lodgers. Either way, travelers are blown away by the beautiful European aesthetic of the hotel. Rooms carry on the luxurious theme of the hotel flawlessly, offering guests 340-thread-count Egyptian bedding and oversized picture windows with views of the pool, golf course or surrounding neighborhood. The $22 daily resort fee also covers additional perks like Wi-Fi access and self-parking. And amenities like the posh Palme d'Or restaurant and the 18-hole Biltmore Golf Course are just too good to think otherwise. But should you need to unwind outside your digs, recent guests said you can't leave the property without lounging by the expansive Italian Renaissance-inspired pool. You should especially make time for the Sunday Champagne brunch – that's when this hotel really puts its best foot forward. You'll find this Leaders Club rewards program participant about 10 miles southwest of downtown Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.

    Fisher Island Club and Resort
    Miami Beach, FL
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 82 reviewsTripAdvisor (82)

Some of the area's vacationers like the seclusion offered at the Fisher Island Club & Resort, located on the same-named island just 4 miles south of Miami Beach. In fact, previous guests use words like "relaxing," "exclusive," and "paradise" to describe the grounds and amenities here. However, the resort's remote location can also be its primary drawback, as you'll need to rely on a ferry to get you (and your car) to the bustling shops, restaurants and clubs of South Beach. However, you will find a 22,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, 18 tennis courts and a luscious P.B. Dye-designed golf course waiting for you upon arrival. And after recently undergoing a $60 million island-wide renovation project, the resort now offers updated facilities for its discerning guests. Suites and cottages exude a hint of Old-World charm with European toiletries and 20th-century design elements, but Frette linens, pillow menus and wet bars infuse a sense of contemporary luxury. And though you'll be a bit removed from Miami Beach's dining scene, travelers say that the food served at Fisher Island's eateries won't disappoint.
