    4.0-star Hotel Class
    • Free Parking

Perched on the eastern shore of Maui, The Travaasa Hana is the first resort on the island to see the sun rise. Not only that, but it is unapologetically Hawaiian. Guests are invited to explore local traditions like lei making and ukulele classes taught on-site by staff members. There's also the fact that the hotel doesn't just have a whirlpool — it has a lava rock whirlpool. And as far as technology goes, you won't find high-tech amenities in these guest rooms. That's right: no TVs, clocks or radios — with the exception of the Waikoloa Family Suites, which feature a TV in the living room. Travaasa Hana's accommodations are designed to help you disconnect, featuring private hot tubs and spacious balconies. Guests especially enjoy staying here thanks to the hotel's all-inclusive rates; the cost of your room will also cover meals and spa treatments, if you're so inclined. What's more, since it's part of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts umbrella, the hotel allows members of the I Prefer program to cash in or rack up points for stays.
