In addition to more than 500,000 square feet of meeting space (with 69 meeting rooms), the 85-acre Marriott property also boasts more than 1,500 rooms and suites, eight restaurants and an indoor/outdoor water park with waterslides and a lazy river. Guests of all ages will enjoy the rooms, which are decorated in a Colorado-chic style with hardwood headboards, framed wildlife art and tree wallpaper. Accommodations are also outfitted with minifridges, 55-inch TVs, and in select rooms, sofa beds and bunk beds. While most visitors were pleased with the dizzying array of hotel amenities, some felt the complex was too big. Others were disappointed with the added fees not covered by the daily $23 resort fee, such as valet parking, which costs $39 a day. Reviewers also noted the resort's location in Aurora, Colorado, about 20 miles northeast of downtown Denver, as potential cons for some travelers.
