    Aguascalientes Marriott Hotel
    Aguascalientes
    4.5-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 628 reviewsTripAdvisor (628)

A modern choice for travelers visiting the city's Northern Zone, this Marriott hotel sits just 3 miles north of downtown Aguascalientes in central Mexico. Its spacious, elegantly styled rooms feature soundproof windows, 32-inch LCD TVs, minibars, coffee makers and featherbeds. And while guests heap praise on the standard guest rooms, they also recommend forking over the extra coin (or Marriott Rewards points) for Executive-level digs. By staying in one of these rooms, you'll have access to the exclusive 16th-floor Executive Lounge, where complimentary continental breakfasts, midday snacks, afternoon tea and evening hors d'oeuvres are served. When small bites just won't do, head to the Condimento restaurant to sample zesty Mexican and international plates, or heed the advice of previous guests and explore the Northern Zone's food scene. But before visiting Aguascalientes, visit the U.S. State Department website for the most up-to-date travel advisories and safety tips.

    Mexico City Marriott Reforma Hotel
    Mexico City
    4.5-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 1630 reviewsTripAdvisor (1630)

Simple yet stylish, the Mexico City Marriott Reforma Hotel is a hit with guests more concerned with a quiet night's sleep than a swanky boutique environment. Situated on the leafy Paseo de la Reforma, this Marriott branch is just a stone's throw from El Angel de la Independencia. Rooms boast soundproof windows, 32-inch TVs and internet access (for an additional fee). However, past guests warn that unless you ask for a room with a view, you might end up with lackluster vistas of a building wall. For guaranteed spectacular panoramas of the Paseo de la Reforma, consider forking over some extra coin for Executive Lounge access. Along with the bird's-eye perspective, you'll enjoy a complimentary breakfast, a midday snack, afternoon tea, hors d'oeuvres and dessert. And if you're not stuffed from all of the noshing, head to the Condimento Restaurant for Mexican fare or La Mansion for steak. For even more pampering, make an appointment at the spa or enjoy a leisurely swim in the pool. Keep in mind you can rack up points or cash them in here if you're a Marriott Rewards member.

Ixtapan de la Sal Marriott Hotel, Spa & Convention Center
    Ixtapan De La Sal
    4.5-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 695 reviewsTripAdvisor (695)
    Free WiFi

If you're looking for sun, sand and surf, this Marriott isn't for you; sitting roughly 73 miles southwest of Mexico City in the tiny town of Ixtapan de la Sal, this 189-room hotel sits surrounded by rolling hills. But tourists shouldn't overlook this location: The Ixtapan de la Sal area features both natural sites (like the Cacahuamilpa Caves) and cultural attractions (like the Señor del Perdon church), though you will need a car to get around. Plus, this Marriott garners a positive reputation among leisure travelers. Previous visitors describe the guest rooms as spacious and praise them for their colorful decor, 32-inch satellite TVs, iPod docking stations and private balconies or terraces. Meanwhile, families especially liked the pirate-themed children's pool (the other two pools cater to adults) and the three play areas. And there's plenty of entertainment for adults, too. Grown-ups can steal away to the Tecilli Spa for a soak in the therapy bath or grab a drink at Roberto's Tequila & Cerveza Bar. The hotel also houses the bistro-inspired Orange Restaurante, El Mercadito Deli Cafe and Grillos Pool Bar, which serves lighter fare. And because of its ties to the Marriott Group, Marriott Rewards program members can use points to pay for room rates and upgrades.

TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 421 reviewsTripAdvisor (421)
    Free WiFi

Situated roughly 5 miles outside of the city's historic center, the Marriott Puebla Hotel Meson del Angel isn't ideal for culture hounds. But its seat next to the Las Fuentes Golf Club in northwest Puebla certainly appeals to golfers. Previous guests also rave about the property's hacienda-style architecture and verdant grounds. And the guest rooms' 32-inch LCD TVs, Bath and Body Works toiletries and Wi-Fi access (for an extra fee) also earn high praise. This Marriott outpost also features two outdoor pools and a fitness center, plus easy access to a variety of outdoor pursuits, such as horseback riding, rock climbing and river rafting. No matter how you choose to work up an appetite, you can find something to suit your palate at one of the property's two fine-dining establishments or the Great Room Lobby & Bar. And thanks to it's Marriott ties, if you are a Marriott Rewards member, you can collect or redeem points for choosing to stay here.
