Ideal for both city-goers and sun-worshippers, the Winstead Inn & Beach Resort consists of two properties: A beachfront, 14-room manse and a 15-room estate that is in the heart of town. Located in Harwich and Harwich Port, Cape Cod, the beach house property is nestled along Nantucket Sound, while the downtown property, less than 2 miles north, features an outdoor pool and is just one block from the town's center. A complimentary shuttle runs between both properties, so guests at either facility can feel free to explore either one; though keep in mind the pool is reserved only for guests of the Inn. Rooms feature pillow-top beds, minifridges and flat-screen TVs. Many recent guests loved the accommodations so much that some said it made it hard to leave the room to go sightseeing, though others warned that the rooms were on the small side and felt a bit dated. The complimentary breakfasts, friendly staff members and views from the beach house also received top marks; however, there is no full-service restaurant on-site.
