The resort also offers bicycle rentals, weekly clambakes, and, of course, miles of beachfront access. What's more, the property has multibedroom suites that can accommodate up to 15 lodgers – perfect for groups or multiple families bunking together. Each standard guest room is equipped with a small kitchenette, high-speed internet access, a coffee maker and a TV with a DVD player. Upgrade to a larger room or suite for coastal views from a patio or balcony, expanded kitchens and multiple bedrooms. Recent guests applauded the variety of on-site activities, the friendly staff and the traditional seafood dishes served at the boutique resort's restaurant, The Dunes. According to recent guests, the Vineyard Square Hotel & Suites is the perfect base for a Martha's Vineyard vacation. Located about two blocks northeast of the restaurants and shops situated along Main Street, the hotel is less than a half-mile walk to the Edgartown Lighthouse. Aside from its locale, guests say the accommodations are clean and cozy with decor inspired by the New England coast (think crisp white linens and plantation shutters). In-room amenities include flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi access and granite bathrooms. Meanwhile, larger rooms and suites include additional amenities, such as minifridges, sleeper sofas and kitchenettes. Recent guests also appreciated the complimentary continental breakfast that's offered seasonally from May 1 to Oct. 31. Other seasonal, complimentary amenities include bicycle rentals, beach chairs and beach umbrellas. Year-round, travelers can explore the other establishments located in Vineyard Square, including an art gallery, a boutique and a salon and spa. The square also houses Chesca's restaurant, which gets high marks from diners for its delectable Italian fare. However, some previous guests found the entrees to be overpriced. Overall, previous travelers appeciated the Vineyard Square Hotel & Suites charm and helpful staff.
