The Inn of the Five Graces
    Santa Fe, NM
    4-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 5 based on 705 reviewsTripAdvisor (705)
    Free Breakfast
    Free Parking
    Free WiFi

Unlike other hotels in Santa Fe, New Mexico, The Inn of the Five Graces does not try to steep you in Southwestern culture. Rather, guests here are transported to the Eastern Hemisphere: The decor includes imported treasures from the Middle East and Asia, including tapestries and mosaic tiles. Previous visitors favorably described their rooms as cozy, exotic and bursting with color, praising the hotel's harmonious mélange of atmosphere and amenities (including complimentary Wi-Fi access). The same enticing combination can be found at the spa, where treatments are inspired by Tibetan and East Indian traditions. The hotel also excels in customer service; many travelers describe the staff as helpful and remark on the delicious breakfast waiting for them in the dining room, in the courtyard or even in their personal suites. Though breakfast is included in your room rate, you will have to pay for dinner at 315 Restaurant & Wine Bar (but guests insist that the French flavors are worth the relatively steep menu prices). And though you might feel worlds away at this Relais & Châteaux property, you're actually just a few blocks from the Plaza.

    Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi
    Santa Fe, NM
    5-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 965 reviewsTripAdvisor (965)
    Free WiFi

Like all Rosewood properties, the Inn of the Anasazi marries detail-oriented customer service with luxury accommodations, prompting high praise from guests. Inspired by the natural beauty of New Mexico and the artistic designs of local Native American tribes, guest rooms are spacious and boast handcrafted beds and gas-lit fireplaces alongside contemporary amenities like Keurig coffee makers and wireless internet access. (If you can afford it, previous visitors recommend splurging on a room with a balcony to enjoy views of the Plaza, though some guests warn of late-night noise from the streets below.) Guests also appreciate the Inn's peaceful atmosphere, which extends from the in-house library to the Anasazi Restaurant the selection of rustic Southwestern fare earns a thumbs-up from previous diners. For most visitors, however, the highlight of a stay at the Inn of the Anasazi is interacting with the hotel staff; guests describe the employees as extremely helpful and friendly.

Hotel Santa Fe, The Hacienda & Spa
    Santa Fe, NM
    4-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 1895 reviewsTripAdvisor (1895)
    Free Parking
    Free WiFi

Hotel Santa Fe isn't your typical high-end hotel. Though it's quite removed from the Plaza, this is the only Native American-owned property in the city, meaning that you'll have access to cultural experiences like storytelling, teepee dining and tribal dancing. However, recent guests weren't just sold on the entertainment. Travelers also commend the friendly staff and the tasty traditional cuisine served at Amaya restaurant. When it comes time to retreat to your digs, you'll find all accommodations are outfitted with beds with triple sheeting and down comforters, minibars and spacious desks. Hotel Santa Fe is also home to a spa that offers facials, massages, skin care treatments and more, plus a small pool and hot tub for visitors to enjoy.

    Inn and Spa at Loretto
    Santa Fe, NM
    4-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 1962 reviewsTripAdvisor (1962)
    Free WiFi

The Inn and Spa at Loretto (managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts) is just a short walk from major attractions (including the Plaza and St. Francis Cathedral), but you'll still want to reserve some time to explore the hotel. Guests enjoy the rooms, which put a modern spin on Southwest decor with bright red hues and beige accents, as well as flat-screen TVs and deluxe bath products. Some rooms even feature private balconies overlooking the city (though you'll have to be willing to pay extra for the views). While here, you won't want to pass up the opportunity to relax at the Spa at Loretto, which infuses Native American healing techniques into its treatments. And as the day draws to a close, recent guests strongly suggest spending dinnertime at Luminaria, which offers an innovative take on Santa Fe cuisine, before grabbing cocktails in The Living Room lounge. While most travelers enjoyed the hotel's setting and proximity to Santa Fe's top sights, many were disappointed with the pricey room rates and extra fees, and said the rooms could stand to be updated.

    Hotel Andaluz
    Albuquerque, NM
    4-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 1500 reviewsTripAdvisor (1500)
    Free WiFi

Hotel Andaluz blends traditional and modern quite well. You'll find that the hotel's color palette reflects Southwest decor and that the courtyard arches are reminiscent of adobe-style architecture. But the accommodations exude a much more contemporary feel; funky designs and modern art fill the spacious guest rooms and public areas. Meanwhile, travelers relish MÁS, the in-house restaurant, and the party-hard atmosphere of Ibiza, the rooftop bar and club. (However, if you're not much of a night owl, recent guests recommend a room on one of the lower floors to avoid the noise from Ibiza's after-hours revelry.) All visitors can agree on one thing though, they say the hotel's staff is warm and inviting.

    Hotel St. Francis
    Santa Fe, NM
    4-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 1270 reviewsTripAdvisor (1270)
    Free WiFi

Named after the patron saint of Santa Fe and built in the style of the Palace of Governors, this historical property drips with character. Common areas like the lobby and the Tabla de Los Santos restaurant are reminiscent of the Spanish Colonial era, while guest rooms sport hardwood furnishings, white linens and high-tech amenities like flat-screen TVs and complimentary wireless internet. Previous guests loved the look and feel of this hotel, describing it as beautiful and cozy. However, some visitors complain about the size of the rooms, saying that they were simply too small for a hotel of this caliber. But don't expect to be spending too much time inside: Sitting only a block from the Plaza, the hotel is ideal for sightseeing. What's more, the Hotel St. Francis proudly offers complimentary walking tours, leading guests past some of Santa Fe's most historic sites.
