The 21c Museum Hotels brand keeps its reputation as a stylish hideaway perfectly intact at its Oklahoma City outpost. Lodgers dig the trendy ambiance of the hotel, including features such as its eye-catching interiors and quirky touches found throughout (look out for the big purple penguin). While the property's artistic design is surely the star of the show, the building itself is also a point of interest for guests: it was once the site of a Ford Motor Company assembly plant. Factory features are still present throughout (including multipane windows and large, open spaces), and they blend seamlessly with the hotel's many art pieces. When you're not admiring the art gallery that is the 21c (or its actual on-site art gallery), check in to what lodgers describe as contemporary yet comfortable rooms. Accommodations, which start at 400 square feet, feature comforts such as flat-screen TVs, Nespresso coffee machines, work desks and free Wi-Fi access. Other on-site amenities include a fitness center, a spa and the celebrated Mary Eddy's Kitchen x Lounge, which serves new American cuisine. In addition to spacious rooms, excellent service and scrumptious dining, guests can enjoy the hotel's location in the heart of Oklahoma City.

Set in the renovated Osler Building, the Ambassador Hotel Oklahoma City feels more like a unique boutique hotel than a cookie-cutter brand property, according to recent guests. True to its origins, the building maintains a 1920s-style charm (it was originally constructed in 1929) and features art deco architecture balanced with modern amenities like a 24-hour fitness center and an outdoor pool. Rooms, which recent guests described as spacious and comfortable, are equipped with minifridges, Keurig coffee makers, complimentary Wi-Fi access and flat-screen TVs. While recent visitors praised their digs, they also noted some can be noisier than others; if you're a light sleeper, consider requesting a hotel in the back of the hotel or away from Walker Street. Another point of praise from recent guests? The rooftop O Bar, which offers sweeping view of downtown Oklahoma City and serves small plates. For a heartier meal, head back down to the lobby for the modern American menu served at the Viceroy Grille. Or, explore the neighborhood dining scene – travelers said the hotel's Midtown location puts you within walking distance of several top-notch OKC eateries. Another perk for choosing to bed down here: You can earn and redeem Marriott Bonvoy points.

This historic hotel has been housing visitors in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, since 1925, though it last shut its doors in 1981. After undergoing a $42 million renovation, The Mayo Hotel reopened in 2009, rejoining the city's luxury hotel scene, boasting colorful, contemporary decor and a revitalized spirit. The art deco lobby features extraordinarily high ceilings and marble floors with bold patterned furnishings adding contrast. Guest rooms are a little more subtle with neutral hues, dark wood furniture and bold red accents; accommodations also feature custom linens, flat-screen TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi. Overall, guests were impressed by The Mayo's makeover, but for many, the hotel's bar was the most notable feature. Part of the former Presidential Suite (where Elvis Presley once stayed), the Penthouse Rooftop Lounge serves signature cocktails and downtown views. The Mayo also serves full meals at The Boiler Room, which you can then work off in the 24-hour fitness center.
