Located in the heart of Palo Alto, California, Nobu Hotel Epiphany Palo Alto is an 83-room boutique hotel. The property's downtown Palo Alto location is highly walkable, and guests of the hotel are within easy reach of the nearby Stanford University campus and many restaurants and businesses. For those looking to stay on-site for meals, the hotel's ground-floor restaurant, Nobu Palo Alto, serves locally influenced dishes and Japanese-inspired fare concocted by acclaimed chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Considering the hotel has a dedicated technology concierge who can answer tech-related questions and connect guests with local tech companies, it's safe to say that this Leading Hotels of the World outpost – which participates in the brand's Leaders Club loyalty program – is geared toward the tech crowd. Guests compliment the property's friendly staff and stylish, modern design found inside its facilities and rooms. All accommodations are outfitted with private balconies or terraces, flat-screen TVs, minibars, Illy espresso machines and beds appointed with pillow-top mattresses. Downtown Palo Alto's Garden Court Hotel features Mediterranean-inspired accents with stucco walls and wrought-iron detailing. Each of its 62 guest rooms features a marble bathroom (complete with an overhead rain shower), Italian linens by Rivolta Carmignani, fireplaces and plenty of natural light pouring in from expansive French doors that lead out to private balconies or terraces. Recent guests note the Garden Court's attention to detail: After all, it's the little things  a well-equipped gym, a complimentary continental breakfast and his-and-hers bathrobes in the closet  that count. One thing to note about this hotel: There is no on-site restaurant. However, the property does provide coffee, tea and pastries in the morning and cookies and fresh fruit throughout the day. Recent guests also suggested grabbing a meal at the nearby Italian restaurant, Il Fornaio, when hunger sets in.
