When you're not taking in the bay views from the infinity pool, admire them from your digs, which feature wireless internet access, a welcome bottle of wine and chocolates, Italian bed linens and an iPod docking station, among other amenities. Or, if you really want to up the relaxation, indulge in a treatment at the spa. Aside from the location and the views, the restaurant was another highlight for past lodgers thanks to its delicious seafood dishes (specifically the lobster).

A beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas is available as well. What's more, several top attractions – such as Tulum, Mexico's famous Mayan ruins and El Gran Cenote – sit less than 7 miles away. After working up an appetite, travelers can visit the on-site restaurant, where Mexican-Caribbean fusion cuisine is on the menu.
