The Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort boasts an on-site casino with more than 1,100 slot machines, bingo and numerous table games, making it a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. The resort also features more than 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a heated indoor pool, four restaurants and a coffee shop, plus a regular lineup of live concerts. When it comes time to rest, guest rooms are equipped with IBAHN interactive entertainment centers, hardwood floors, Keurig coffee makers, minifridges, wireless internet access and iPod docking stations. Upgrade to a mountain-view room or suite to enjoy vistas of the San Francisco Peaks. All rooms also come with complimentary valet parking, which can be requested in advance via an app on your mobile phone. Recent lodgers were impressed with how quiet the accommodations were, given that they are housed near a 24-hour casino, and also appreciated that the guest rooms were incredibly clean and spacious. Reviewers said the one downside to this resort is that it is not within walking distance of any additional amenities, and is a bit of a trek to downtown Flagstaff, Arizona, which is about 25 miles west of the property.

Casino Del Sol Resort, Spa and Conference Center
    Tucson, AZ

If you've come to Tucson, Arizona, in search of some peace and quiet, you may not want to bed down at the Casino Del Sol Resort, Spa and Conference Center. With its sizable casino and late-night entertainment, the resort never slows down. But even with all of the diversions (when you're not tempting Lady Luck, recent guests say you should soak up the rays in a cabana by the pool), the resort still offers its fair share of relaxation. Visitors say the Hiapsi Spa is worth a visit. Lodgers are also quick to compliment the spacious guest rooms, which feature Keurig coffee brewers, rain showers and flatscreen TVs. Whether you spend the day relaxing by the pool lawn or perfecting your swing at the Sewailo Golf Club, grab a bite after at one of the resort's nine restaurants (or refuel with a coffee from one of the two on-site Starbucks). Past guests compliment the variety of dining options as well as its varying price ranges available.

Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino
    Chandler, AZ
    4-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 689 reviewsTripAdvisor (689)
    Free Parking
    Free WiFi

Located in Chandler (a southern suburb of Phoenix), this hotel and casino is a monument to the gambling boom on Native American reservations. Advertised as having "Vegas style casino" entertainment, Wild Horse Pass isn't quite ready to join Caesars on the Strip, but it's getting there. The property is constantly alive with activity, whether it's at the card tables, the steak house, the nightclub or the check-in counter. Rooms feature beds with pillow-top mattresses, 40-inch flat-screen TVs, coffee makers and complimentary wireless internet. Meanwhile, the property's on-site eateries and expansive outdoor pool (a guest favorite) provide respite from the lively casino floor. But if your idea of a great vacation includes sightseeing with some R&R thrown in, you should consider booking elsewhere – Wild Horse Pass isn't exactly close to the area's top attractions.

    Talking Stick Resort
    Scottsdale, AZ
    4-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 1345 reviewsTripAdvisor (1345)
    Free Parking
    Free WiFi

Situated on a Native American reservation just northeast of Scottsdale, Talking Stick Resort has the essentials to compete in the Phoenix-Scottsdale tourism industry. Golf course? Check. Massive spa? Check. Pools? Check. But, what it offers that few others do not are distinctly designed rooms — complete with stylish decor, 40-inch flat-screen massive televisions and complimentary wireless Internet access — and a massive casino. The majority of Talking Stick visitors were relatively pleased with their experiences here. However, some visitors who come for a resort stay rather than a gambling expedition complain of cigarette smoke coming from the casino. And though dining is abundant here, many said the food here is nothing special.
