The stunning Harbour Town area is a great place to station yourself during a Hilton Head trip. And its standout accommodations, The Inn & Club at Harbour Town (part of The Sea Pines Resort), is certainly one of the most popular resorts on the island. Guests who choose to make the (somewhat long) trek here delight in the lush scenery, the luxurious rooms and the professional, approachable and welcoming staff. In addition to the excellent food and the PGA golf courses, The Cloister at Sea Island boasts one of the best views on all of Sea Island, Georgia. Resting high above the Las Vegas Strip, ARIA Sky Suites sits atop the ARIA Resort & Casino in the heart of Sin City. Attention to detail is a high priority at this hotel. A personal concierge is assigned to each Sky Suite, there are check-in and checkout areas separate from the ARIA Resort guests and, according to recent visitors, the service is unparalleled. Unlike other hotels in Santa Fe, New Mexico, The Inn of the Five Graces does not try to steep you in Southwestern culture. Rather, guests here are transported to the Eastern Hemisphere: The decor includes imported treasures from the Middle East and Asia, including tapestries and mosaic tiles. Previous visitors favorably described their rooms as cozy, exotic and bursting with color, praising the hotel's harmonious mélange of atmosphere and amenities (including complimentary Wi-Fi access). The same enticing combination can be found at the spa, where treatments are inspired by Tibetan and East Indian traditions. The hotel also excels in customer service; many travelers describe the staff as helpful and remark on the delicious breakfast waiting for them in the dining room, in the courtyard or even in their personal suites. Though breakfast is included in your room rate, you will have to pay for dinner at 315 Restaurant & Wine Bar (but guests insist that the French flavors are worth the relatively steep menu prices). And though you might feel worlds away at this Relais & Châteaux property, you're actually just a few blocks from the Plaza.

Overall, visitors love the quiet atmosphere and family-friendliness of this oasis on the Strip. For one, this luxury Las Vegas hotel is a gaming-free refuge. And even though this Four Seasons property sits on the top five floors of Mandalay Bay's tower, it has its own express elevators and the private check-in desk is said to have some of the speediest (and friendliest) staff in town. Once you've arrived in your room, you'll be welcomed by art deco decor, flat-screen TVs, iPod docking stations and impressive vistas of the Las Vegas skyline. Some recent travelers complained that being relegated to the south end of the Strip keeps them far from the action, but most visitors enjoyed the seclusion. Its name describes this resort perfectly: Sanctuary. And its location, lodged on the side of Camelback Mountain, is rife with opportunities for both rejuvenation and physical activity. No wonder this hotel has seen its fare share of Hollywood heavyweights passing through its doors. Guest rooms are bright and beautiful, with exposed, whitewashed brick walls, deep soaking tubs and panoramic views. But for most travelers, Sanctuary's highlights are located outside the rooms. Guests lounge in (or by) the infinity pool and watch their worries drop off the edge of the world. And for an extra dose of pampering, travelers head straight to the resort spa, which boasts a bevy of Asian-inspired treatments. Visitors can also sip a variety of cocktails made from premium liquor and local ingredients at Jade Bar before enjoying a meal at Elements, the hotel's restaurant run by chef Beau MacMillan. And although Sanctuary does charge a $30 resort fee per night (to cover parking and internet access, among other amenities) on top of the general room rate, many guests weren't fazed by the extra cost.

Hugged by the hills of Marana, Arizona – 27 miles northwest of downtown Tucson – this Ritz opts for trendy over tradition, with contemporary art and sleek furnishings dominating the decor. And though The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain might not deliver authentic hacienda living, recent guests don't seem to mind the lack of traditional Southwestern style. (Besides, if you're craving a true taste of the region, you can simply make dinner reservations at CORE Kitchen & Wine Bar.) The spa and pool area make a great setting for some R&R, while golfers give high praise to the 27-hole, Jack Nicklaus-designed course (guests gain access to these amenities after paying a daily resort fee of $50). Travelers also appreciated the low-key elegance of the guest rooms, where plush fabrics feel homey while high-end features (like deep-soaking tubs and private balconies) feel deluxe.
