But this property also caters to the luxury set with its services and facilities, including its fitness center and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Accommodations come equipped with contemporary furnishings and high-end touches like marble bathrooms and glass-enclosed showers, not to mention HDTVs, stocked minibars and sumptuous linens. Lodgers were equally complimentary of the Opalie Bar & Brasserie for its gourmet French fare and attentive wait staff. Though some recent guests bemoan Sofitel's high price tags, most claim that the hotel gave them the best night's sleep they'd had in ages. When you're not exploring the Dupont Circle neighborhood, admire it from The Rooftop  the hotel's trendy lounge and pool area (open seasonally). Though you're within easy walking distance of several top-notch restaurants, visitors say you should stick around the hotel to sample the evolving menu at Station Kitchen & Cocktails. Travelers particularly enjoyed the drinks prepared by the bartender. Reviews for the rooms were a bit more mixed, however. Some lodgers appreciated the funky color palette, contemporary furnishings and eclectic style, but others were less charmed, describing the rooms as tiny. Aside from the aesthetics, accommodations are equipped with 47-inch TVs, work desks and Keurig coffee makers. What's more, you can schedule in-room spa treatments. When you're not lounging in your digs, work up a sweat in the 24-hour fitness center or retreat to the "Adult Playground," a lounge with table tennis and foosball.
