    The Westin Bellevue
    Bellevue, WA
    4-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 1157 reviewsTripAdvisor (1157)

With its downtown Bellevue locale, this Westin is popular with business travelers. It's just minutes from the corporate offices of Microsoft, Nintendo of America and T-Mobile, among others. Downtown Bellevue's dining options are right at your door, but it's also close to downtown Seattle – just 10 miles west. Recent guests generally give this Westin great marks for its service staff and Heavenly Bed and Bath products, but there are some who complain about extra charges for things like parking and in-room internet access. Travelers recommend asking for a room on the upper floors for a quieter stay. The on-site Cyprus Lounge & Wine Bar serves up American cuisine in a casual setting and has a wide selection of wine for your inner sommelier. Or venture across the street to more dining and shopping options at the Bellevue Square Mall. If you're a member of the Marriott Bonvoy program, take note: You can earn and redeem points and gain access to extra perks through the rewards program.

    Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Seattle
    Seattle, WA
    5-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4.5 based on 3559 reviewsTripAdvisor (3559)

Stylish since 1924, the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, Seattle has stayed true to its elegant roots. Crystal chandeliers dangle delicately from the arched ceiling and a classical pianist performs at afternoon tea in The Terrace lounge. The Fairmont Olympic Hotel receives high praise for everything from its indoor swimming pool to its impeccable service staff to its convenient downtown location. Inside the 450 accommodations, lodgers find terry bathrobes, windows that open to let in the breeze, internet access (free for Le Club AccorHotels members) and goose-down duvets. But fair warning: The Fairmont is pricey, and so is the food at The Georgian Restaurant, though guests say the stay and the eats are worth the splurge.

Situated in the downtown area, The Westin Seattle's circular-shaped towers offer panoramic views of the Seattle cityscape, Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Inside, the rooms are decked out in typical Westin style with Heavenly Beds, Heavenly Bath products and wireless internet access (for a fee). But the Westin Kids Club provides reason to keep the whole gang on premises with amenity kits tailored to different age groups. For some adult indulgence, splurge on an in-room spa treatment, enjoy classic American fare at Relish Burger Bistro or sling back a drink at the Lobby Bar. Seattle Marriott Waterfront
    Seattle, WA
    4-star HOTEL CLASS
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating 4 based on 2038 reviewsTripAdvisor (2038)

Though the Marriott Waterfront doesn't teeter on its own pier like The Edgewater, this hotel still boasts vistas of Elliott Bay. Popular with the cruising crowd, this Marriott property is right across the street from the cruise port, so occasionally those picturesque views will be blocked by a hulking boat. Still, most standard rooms come with balconies to better enjoy the fresh Seattle air. Inside your digs, you'll also find minifridges, 42-inch LCD TVs, in-room coffee makers and wireless internet access (for a fee). Some recent guests weren't impressed by their digs, though, saying the rooms were starting to show signs of wear and tear. Recent travelers did, however, love the fare at Hook & Plow, the on-site restaurant, but others remark that plates are a bit pricey compared to the other nearby eateries. Keep in mind that Marriott Bonvoy members can earn and use points here.
