Crisis Job Assignment

Jun 7th, 2020

Travel nurse on an job assignment for COVID -19 in NYC. Hotel was convenient to the Brooklyn hospital It was a 10 minutes walk. However the was a lot of construction i front of the hotel. The room was very small, they had no refrigerator or microwave for the frontline workers. I asked couple of time, and every time I was told I had to go to the second floor to use it. The first night I checked in to the hotel, I noticed the room was dirty, the floor was not clean. When I used the towels I also notice where dirty with foot steps on it, and also the towels had short hair on it. No garbage bags for you to put on the garbage disposal. Survives was also terrible, WiFi was on and off all the time. Overall, I’ll not stay in this hotel again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Needs Work

Room small. Absolutely no draws in room. Since I like to unpack, this was a problem. Space around sink did not allow room to leave toiletries in proximity. Bring your own alarm clock. OK but not great. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Convenience over amenities

Mar 8th, 2020

Recently spent 4 nights at this location and found the rooms to be small - no refrigerator, no drawer storage, noise from adjoining room. As a platinum member I did not get an upgrade - told no upgrade rooms were available. As I discovered the area, I found that it is very close to a subway station where you can take an express train to Manhattan. It is also close to many stores and restaurants and the Barclay Center. There was always a wait for elevators. If you don't mind an average room in exchange for a good location and you get a reasonable rate - then this is a good option. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Celebrating my birthday!

Auriel was an exceptional front desk agent! She made our stay!! Thank you for all your hard work! She gave us a great room with a wonderful view of downtown Brooklyn on a high floor! There was also a pool in the hotel! Very clean and classy! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
