Olivia and Ashley exceeded my expectations of service. They get an A+ they were very attentive and personal with my accommodations and I personally enjoy the first class attention. Would recommend the hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Unimpressed DON’T STAY HERE

Im not sure if it was the tiny rooms, or the way my partner and I were greeted upon check-in that left me disgusted. My partner and I are world travelers so to have an experience where we (both black and queer) were undermined and disrespected in a country that we reside in was distasteful and upsetting. Checking in I observed that Ashley front desk staff was being overly kind, and helpful to the couple in front of us asking them if they needed recommendations for the area going as far as pulling out a list to outline things to do downtown. Mindful of this when it was my turn to get checked in Ashley was short, intolerable and RUDE! She was so limited with my partner and I that we had to go back to ask for directions to our room. Ashley’s tone and attitude was condescending, passive aggressive and snarky. She asked me for my method of payment and swiped my card without notifying me of what my card was being charged for, or an overview of the fees. She didn’t provide me with check-in or out directions, or provide us with any information regarding the rooftop bar. Throughout all of this my assumption is that the her manager Derek overheard the commotion and gave her a 45 dollar voucher, (this was days after the election 45? hmm, I’ll digress)to give to us to use at the lobby bar (micro-aggressions ) which I was apprehensive about using and when I decided to do so my card was charged twice as a result. Also Derek did not address my partner and I or the situation. Derek didn’t even look at us. Piss poor management! The rooms are small, like tiny and not as described in photos. As far as my experience I am appalled and I plan to write a review on every platform to address the inequities in hospitality. The hotel lacked diversity in staffing and in guest, but I’m sure to some that’s fine but if you’re of the LGBT community, or a person of color this hotel is a hard pass! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We had a terrific stay at this hotel. Ashley and Kristina went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. We were tired from traveling and we appreciated the bottles of water that we were given upon arrival. We also were told we had been upgraded and would have a room with a city view on the 17th floor. Nice! We asked for a good place to eat dinner and our young hostess spent plenty of time asking what we liked and offering places and directions for where to eat. She made sure we knew which elevator to take as we headed to our room. The room was clean, modern, and actually had a nice tv (compatible with your smart phone if you want to watch Netflix, YouTube tv, Hulu, etc.) directly in front of the bed. (Sometimes tvs are positioned weird in hotel rooms). The bed, linens, and pillows were clean and comfortable. Because of the cleanliness and new feeling, we were able to relax and get a good night's sleep. I will note there was not a refrigerator or a coffee maker in our room. We didn't mind this at all. The next morning we asked for directions for public transportation and once again we received cheerful help. We also got another bottle of water after returning from our outing. It was truly appreciated! I should mention everyone working had masks and observed social distancing guidelines. There was also hand sanitizer placed in several easy to use places in the lobby. One final note about the staff - I was surprised when we came back in the afternoon and were greeted with, "So, where did you go to dinner last night?" Wow, what personal care and service. We asked for a late checkout and were told it was no problem at all and if we wanted to leave our bags they would hold them so we could leave whenever we wanted to. We are loyal Marriott members and we will definitely be back to this hotel! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Upon arriving our day had taken a delay and we were very stressed, from the moment we met olivia she handled everything in such a calm fashion and provided us with the best customer service we’ve ever gotten!! She was so polite and funny and had great suggestions for things to do. Overall she was very knowledgeable TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
