Definitely would recommend

We recently stayed At the AC on Miami Beach and had a wonderful experience. Everyone from the front desk to the bar was very professional. One person who stood out the most was “Franny” Francisco from the lobby bar. He had a great personality and was very helping with menu options and drink selections before our night on the town. Definitely will be back Again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good location but wouldn't return

Well located hotel, nice,modern rooms but the lobby smells like 20 year old cigar smoke. They charge a $25 per day resort fee for beach chairs, bike use, 2 bottles of water and that is pretty much it. Took 3 tries to get bikes to use. Three were out of service: one had a broken seat post, another locked to the rack and they had no key and a third bike had no lock so they wouldn't let it out. At check out, we asked the front desk to call us a cab. The clerk went out to the valet stand rather than getting on the phone. A few minutes later, some unmarked renegade private car shows up. I said I wanted a cab and the valet said, "this is a cab." It wasn't. No way I am getting into some unknown car in Miami Beach so we hailed a real cab down. I am Marriott Titanium level so I know their usual SOP's. This did NOT meet Marriott standards. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

AC Hotel

Go to the bar. Rey and Fransisco are the best!!!!!! 10 out of 10 says People Magazine!! Two thumbs up says Motley Fool!!! And Larry King says can I get a Diet Pepsi? I have to use 200 characters so the rest of the review is just Fluff. Just go already it is great. #shotoffernat TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Company Trip Gone Wrong

My company booked this hotel for a conference. I submitted the hotel's company credit authorization form with my company card 2 weeks prior to my stay. When I arrived to check-in, they were unable to find it and kept saying they could only find it if I told them who it was I emailed it to. I explained to them that I had submitted the the Esignature form, there was no person that it was emailed to. They ultimately told me they would look for it, but needed a card on file for me to check-in. I was not told they would be charging my personal card every day for the hotel room. By the end of my stay I was not only charged the cost of the room per day, I was charged an additional several hundreds of dollars. Being that this was my personal debit card, I was ultimately left overdrafted. I called the hotel and they explained it was their error, they ultimately found the credit card authorization form and charged the company card. The woman at the front desk said they would call my bank to get the money reversed as soon as possible. After calling my bank they offered to provide me with a room, and then charge my card for the room after the money is put back on my debit card. I told them I had no interest in paying for a room. This same woman then went to the backroom, came out, and told me that she had relayed the wrong message, and they were going to give me a comp room. I later explained it ws very inconvenient for me to stay at this hotel being that I had meetings the next few days outside of the beach. I asked if they could provide any sort of voucher and they refused, stating that the room had to be used for the night and that was all that they would be offering. I spent the next few days with an overdrawn bank account. It has been 4 days, the company card has been charged, and I have still to receive the money back. What most disgusts me is that the manager hid in the back office the entire time, sending different people back and forth to relay messages. I would be more than happy to discuss with someone at corporate as I found little to no help with the hotel employees. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location and service

What a great hotel. Wonderful location right on Collins ave, 1 minute walk to the beach. Great ocean views. And I can’t say enough about the friendly service, especially Elisa!!! And they also have free bikes to use and beach yoga in the morning. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
