Wonderful Stay

Oct 26th, 2020

We had a wonderful 2 nights stay here. This has to be one of the best Hotels in Ireland. The attention to detail is amazing . But what makes it really special is the staff, Everyone we met was exceptional and made our stay really special . We hope to retune next year. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The perfect marriage of service and hospitality. It simply does not get better!

Oct 23rd, 2020

Myself and my wife stayed for 3 weeks recently in one of the manor lodges and everything about our stay was incredible from beginning to end. It was the perfect get away and escape from everything happening in the world right now. The grounds are amazing, especially in the morning for our runs and walks. I had private golf lessons with James and Fraser, both of which were excellent teachers that give me a great insight into the world of golf. Sean who looks after the lodges went above and beyond to make our stay flawless and David at the concierge's desk in the main house has the most incredible knowledge of the property and it’s history. He give us a private tour one day which we loved. He also helped us book a local horse riding trip as well as advised on the best coffee and trips to make in the area. A big thank you to Gerry their fitness manager for the morning jog. Literally the longest I ever jogged! LOL. I promise next time we will take up more fitness stuff with ya! We done clay pigeon shooting one of the days also and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Neal who was our instructor on the day is the most professional teacher I have ever had for anything. He made it fun, safe, knowledge and truly enjoyable for us all. I would go back to Adare just to have another session with Neal! The food is flawless, well almost. We ate quite a bit there and if I had only one point of critique, it would be the pizza. It is just hard to get really good pizza sometimes and I felt the Carriage House just didn’t quite get there. I am being picky though but I feel they could improve the dough in their pizza choices to deliver a fantastic result. Again, I am being very fussy as all other food from the bread, starters, the mains and of course the Oak Room experience were amazing! We are definitely coming back and hopefully sooner rather than later. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Afternoon Tea

Oct 17th, 2020

Afternoon tea at Adare has been our our list of “Must do’s” for a while now, but we just never got around to it. Finally found time to go, and so glad we did. When you arrive the grounds are absolutely beautiful and the hotel looks impeccable. The service was excellent, we were shown to a lounge/reception area where we waited for a host to bring us to the dining room. The surroundings were beautiful, and the afternoon tea itself was amazing. Very attentive service, constantly offered more of everything, huge choice of teas including Adare’s own signature blend. It was a nice touch to be given some of this blend when we were leaving. We had such a lovely afternoon that we ended up booking a few nights away in the springtime. We’re looking forward to it already. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Awesome hotel - the best we’ve ever stayed at

Oct 7th, 2020

We stayed at Adare Manor for two nights and it could not have been better. The room was big with a comfortable bed, all mod cons and a huge balcony (room 518). From it, we could see onto the 12th green of the golf course and 13th tee. The mini bar was well stocked and refilled for free. The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous. We walked and cycled around them for a day which was great. We also checked out the pool which was pretty small (don’t expect to do laps) but enough for a quick swim. There is a steam room and a sauna although they were closed during our visit because of the covid restrictions. Breakfast at the hotel was really good with plenty of options. We also ate at the Carriage Restaurant on one night. That had the same great service as the rest of the hotel but I’d say the food is a good solid choice rather than spectacular. On the other night we ate in Adare village and the hotel arranged a car for us down to the village gate (with the option of one on the return trip if we wanted - albeit we actually preferred to walk back - it’s about 10 / 15 minutes). We’ve been lucky enough to stay at some of the other Leading Hotels of the World but this one is the best so far! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Afternoon tea

Oct 5th, 2020

Me and my mom decided to go for a little treat and from the minute we reached the gate we were greeted with smiles all around. The hotel and the grounds are just so beutiful and looked after. Afternoon tea was so tasty from the sandwiches to fluffy scones and sweet treats to follow. Could not fault it in any way. One thing that made our experience even better was Rasa who looked after us and I mean really looked after us. The attention to detail by her and the service she provided made our experience so memorable. I'm sure every time we will remember our trip to adare she will always pop into that memory as she was just amazing. She is a Gem. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
