How this can be rated a 4 star hotel is beyond hard for me to understand. Upon arrival we were not informed about anything: breakfast hours, restaurant dining hours, lunch cafes hours, baby cot availability, pool hours etc. We never worked the various opening hours out but it seems the restaurant does not open until 8pm and there are no other places to buy dinner around unless you have a car. Which we didn't - and since we were travelling with a 1,5 y/o night time meals were hard to work out. Staff was not very informative and spoke very little English, which made it hard to communicate or even order a juice at the pool. We had to unplug the fridge at it made the loudest crackle noises at night time. The worst part, however, was that we were not informed of the events booked in for both nights of our stay (Sunday and Monday nights). On Sunday the music and noise stopped at 1.30am and Monday at midnight. It was so loud and despite complaints from several hotel guests, nothing changed. Knowing about these events would have clearly kept us from booking the hotel. We won't be rushing back to Agave. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Staff super friendly, beautiful setting, amazing food!
Oct 15th, 2018
Just returned from Italy today, i travelled with my partner & 2 children. Our eldest girl is 2.5 and our youngest just 5 months old. This hotel was perfect. Beautiful well maintained gardens, the staff were so so friendly and the food was just so so tasty! Pizza is fab, breakfast had a good selection and our waiter was so good with the children!!! Locals came on the weekend but personally we really enjoyed that and it added to the atmosphere! My 2 year old loved the cute little play area and even though the pool was closed (during off season) it was a little heaven sitting by the pool in the sunny autumn days. The location is off the dual carriage way so at first we were a bit worried about getting about with no car! However the hotel offer a shuttle in to pozzouli port free of charge 11am and back at- 5pm or to metro where you can get to naples or lots of different places very easily and conveniently! The port was lovely though with a fab harbour, shops, resturants etc. The hotel was very clean and rooms smelled fresh and the staff really went out their way to make us feel welcome! Thank you so much for being so AMAZING. I would really reccomend this hotel and will hopefully be returning soon. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Old style resort - great for family and kids. Don't go on Friday nights
Oct 7th, 2018
If you want a good night sleep, don't go on Friday nights as they have a singer and big events at the resort. We were trying to sleep at 11pm and the music didn't stop till just after mid night. Had to wear earplugs to drown out the entertainment. Maybe eat at the restaurant and be part of it rather than try to sleep at 10/11pm. BUT great resort for family with children. Only place we booked on our holiday which had a pool; and a dip at the end of a hot day is heavenly. You must also realize that it next to a petrol station which confused us for the first 10 mins trying to find it. Happy with breakfast selections. Thank you TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Good base if you're exploring the region, and the pizza is great

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and it was pretty good. Although it's behind a service station the rooms are large and quiet, and being so near the highway makes it easy to get out to explore. The rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. It was disappointing that the pool closed at 6 pm because we were just retuning from our sightseeing around then. The staff were quite accommodating though, and let us take a quick swim a couple of nights. It turned into a super busy restaurant for 2 or the 3 nights we were there! We liked that it was full of local families out for dinner, but the music late on a Saturday night was a bit much. The pizza was really good, but the restaurant menu was pretty uneven. My two major complaints were 1) that the breakfast was really very mediocre and disappointing. Cold food served in a dingy room. And 2) we didn't know that on Saturday the hotel pool turns into a locals hangout - it was absolutely packed, with no place for us to relax and barely even a place for us as residents to park. I would stay here again if I were sightseeing in the area, but if I were looking for a place to relax this would not be my choice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The first room had a crack in the wall, ants and was flooded. Once they changed our room, it was PERFECT. COMFORTABLE bed, spacious too. And convenient to a lot of attractions. The property was a little hard to find, but it also had a nice restaurant with good food and beautiful pool. Honest people. I lost my cellphone and a worker found it and turned it in. I would recommend this place and I would stay again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
