Luxury break for an anniversary

Jul 2nd, 2019

Exceptional from the moment you arrive. Luggage is whisked away and in your room before you get there. A very brief tour and you’re taken up to your room. As expected. The pool area is delightful as are all of the amenities. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful Hotel

Jun 24th, 2019

This really is a top notch hotel. Service was first class, towels available for the beach, you can order drinks from the hotel and they'll bring them to you on the beach. There is a top quality Spa and a gym plus an indoor and outdoor pool. The rooms were spotless and tidied twice a day. The only minor quibble we had was with the bike hire, which was free but limited to three hours. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Business Conference

Jun 12th, 2019

Each year I organise a large group conference for our European Distributor Training, each year in a different location across Europe. I always use Trip Advisor to help with selecting hotels and restaurants so wanted to provide feedback. In eight years I have never come across a hotel that is so disorganized and lacking in customer service. I would forward a booking form to them and no confirmation would be sent so a lot of my time was wasted chasing up, then when the hotel sent the rooming list nights allocated differed to what was sent. Unfortunately the original person who was dealing with our conference left, so there was no consistency. The week before travel I was asking for confirmation with regards catering for our event. Upon arrival the hotel looked nice and clean and well presented, however breakfast service was lacking as I'd ordered tea & juice and it never arrived. On meeting with the member of staff assigned to our group I was shown a meeting room, unfortunately this was not set up as per my original request. After many discussions we was allocated the correct style, unfortunately though they seemed more interested in spending time going through old emails to find proof I never asked for that. Totally unhelpful and a complete waste of time and effort. On the first evening we'd ordered a group meal (this was on the original enquiry dated 6th December! Can you believe the 'option' was to have one choice which was beef stuffed with rabbit. Considering our distributors come from all over and have different beliefs over what they can eat there was no way this was acceptable. The remainder of the day was spent being interrupted only to be told there was no other option, even when we asked to choose from the Al a Carte menu we were told that wasn't available to us!!! Eventually they managed to put together a selection which was acceptable but not great, my boss declared it a 'reasonable save' Crazy that a hotel this size and star rating with a seafront location said they were unable to offer a chicken/fish option! The meeting room was well equipped with audio and projector but was unfortunately very warm. People were asking if we could turn the air conditioning on but I was told it was fixed to 'winter mode' and couldn't be changed!?! WiFi was reasonable throughout the hotel, unfortunately I never got to use the spa, the best bit was the view from my room. In total I was relieved to get to the end of the conference as I found every single request to be hard work. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to book with a large group. I would however recommend the Tempini Restaurant local to the hotel as the food and service was amazing (separate review about to be done) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Almar Jesolo Spa Resort

First Class Hotel, very comfortable spacious rooms with ample storage. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel, nothing is too much trouble for them. Within walking distance to the town of Lido de Jesolo. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
