Valentine’s vacation.

Very nice hotel. Extremely clean and spacious. The staff was so kind and helpful. Lisa, the bartender was great and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. We listened to entertainment by Tori Allen. She has a beautiful voice. She not only plays for the audience, but interacts with them as well. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Cool place

I like the Aloft Hotels. The are usually inexpensive and just have a cool vibe. They have a very millenial feeling. This also applies to Nashville West End. Great location, just next to the music quarter and excellent restaurants and live music locals. The service was right and the room comfortable. Parking a bit expensive. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent stay & Great location

Jan 26th, 2020

We had a great stay at Aloft Nashville West End this January. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful with all questions and requests. Hotel is perfectly located to many of Nashville's must see's with easy access to all. Thank you Aloft, we will be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

“Meh” is a perfect description.

When we arrived we apparently inconvenienced the first woman we met. She seemed quite put out by our arrival. We had a few run-ins with her over our 3 day stay and this seems to be her norm. Thankfully, her coworkers made up for her terrible attitude. The man we met later was the kindest and most gracious, and the kitchen staff we met on Saturday morning was the epitome of southern hospitality. The hotel itself was okay. Our room was really nice and clean. The shower took a good 10 minutes (not exaggerating) to warm up. However, the overwhelming scent of air freshener that tackles you as soon as you open the door to the hotel and follows you as you walk through the halls made me dizzy every time. It was not pleasant at all. I should also mention that while we were there, there was a kids hockey team and their families staying throughout the hotel and VERY disruptive at all hours of the day/night. When we approached the desk staff (the aforementioned unhappy woman), she told us there was nothing she could do about it and we’d have to “deal with it”. Seriously - that’s what she said. I have NEVER heard someone in hospitality react that way to a guest complaint. I know it’s not on the staff to parent or reprimand these kids (that is the parents’ job, and apparently they had not gotten that memo), But there is a level of courtesy that could be taken and usually hotels hope to ensure guest comfort. A gentle reminder to the parents to remind their children that they were not the only ones in the hotel and should respect other people would have been an easy fix, but her response to me was astounding. Overall, I don’t know that I would stay again. It was enough to sleep in and get on with our day but there are better hotels with better guest relations that I’ll seem out next time. Thanks so much!!

First let me say, I don't review often. I was en route to my travel assignment and was a bit of a basket case. I arrived in the evening on Jan. 9th, 2020 and Kim in guest services/registration was very friendly and helpful with food ideas. Long story short, there was a moment I thought I lost my wallet and Kim and the bartender (blonde) were trying to help me find it including going outside to help. I found it under my dog kennel and came to the top of the stairs to show them. They all laughed and said congrats and Kim said "come here, you need this" and gave me a drink ticket. The bartender was very kind and helpful. They were all sweet to my dog. It was customer service at it's best. Thanks ladies for a great night and stay at Aloft. Hit up Hattie B's y'all!
